Basking Ridge Fire Co. No. 1 (BRFCo) is an all-volunteer agency, established in 1904. Our services include both firefighting and emergency medical services (EMS).
100% Volunteer Fire Company
We are your neighbors, friends, & colleagues! Our fire department has been 100% volunteer since its inception in 1904. We provide fire and rescue service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township. Our equipment includes the following apparatus:
- Rescue Truck
- Ladder Truck
- Fire Engine
- 2 Ambulances
- Rescue Boat
- Utility Truck
Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Our volunteer squad provides EMS services on weekends and overnight on all weekdays to the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township.* We rely on donations and volunteers to continue providing this service to our community.
*Atlantic Health provides weekday coverage, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
