Bernards Township is served by two EMS agencies: Basking Ridge Fire Company EMS and Atlantic Health EMS. These agencies provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services, which include the transport of a patient to the hospital. Atlantic Health also provides Advanced Life Services (ALS). What factors determine which agency responds to which emergency service? What is the difference between BLS and ALS? Basking Ridge EMS Captain Sarah Bonnefoi will dive into EMS in New Jersey and more importantly explain what to expect after you dial 9-1-1 for a medical emergency.
