Stop The Bleed Training Class

We are presenting the American College of Surgeons’ Stop the Bleed training course, at the station. The course takes 60 to 90 minutes and is free to everyone (donations are always welcome)!

The ACS Stop the Bleed course is for anyone who is interested in learning this lifesaving skill for bleeding control. The ACS Stop the Bleed program has trained over 5 million people including students, teachers, and community groups.

Participants in the course will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control it with three quick techniques. The ACS Stop the Bleed training course will empower you to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.

The course is available to anyone age 14+. Participants under 18 will need parental permission. It would be a great parent/child activity. Participants, please note–there will be graphic images and content included in the presentation.

There is no need to bring anything–all materials needed will be provided. There will be hands-on practice.
